This is my first cast skillet, followed the instruction manual, my first cooking experience was good. Its almost non stick, thanks to the pre seasoning. Im sure it will get better with usage. On the whole a good buy and value for money. Wash without using soap,( i washed it with salt and hot water), wipe it dry with a cloth, heat it again to dry it completely. Apply a layer of cooking oil all over, wipe off excess oil and store it. Follow this and your pan will keep going good for ages.

PRE SEASONED AND YOU CAN REMOVE THE LAYER BY STEEL WOOL BUT AFTER THAT TAKE CARE OF IRON PAN AS IT WILL CATCH RUST WITHIN AN HOUR...THE PAN HEATS UP SLOW AND THE HEAT REMAINS FOR LONGER DURATION WHICH IS BEST FOR COOKING THE PAN I VERY HEAVY AND U NEED GLOVES TO HOLD AS THE HANDLE GETS HEATED UP A LOT. IRON DISHES NEED CARE AND ARE HEAVY AND GOOD FOR COOKING ANY THING...

This pan is great, I think it's a nice size and you can cook a lot of things with it, it's really good for induction tops, but if you got a glass top I recommend parchment paper to go underneath it to prevent scratching. Great for searing meats and things.
